Will White
Biography

Will White would rather invent a picture than copy one, and paint something from the back of his mind rather than something in front of him.

He’s a fan of René Magritte, Odd Nerdrum, Saul Steinberg, steam locomotives, jazz, blues and classic rock.

He’s written plays, built tree houses, taught Sunday school, art classes, and computer basics, owned an MG-TD and traveled around the country in a motor home.
Prices include mats but not frames nor shipping & handling.

He’s worked on a farm, washed dishes
for a hotel, loaded cotton bales for the
Southern Railroad, sold trucks in Chicago,
created TV for NYC ad agencies and founded two small creative boutiques.

He thinks a picture should suggest a story but not exclude multiple interpretations.  He likes watercolor because of its ease, flexibility and effects, and drawing because it is immediate.
